On Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 September 2023, ARCHITECT@WORK will take place at Taets on the Hembrugterrein in Zaandam. It will be the first edition of the event in the Amsterdam metropolitan region. Architectenweb is once again organising a lecture programme on the theme 'Healthy Materials'.
First speakers confirmed
Meanwhile, we have confirmed the first speakers at ARCHITECT@WORK. On the first day of the event, on Wednesday 27 September, architect Oana Bogdan (&bogdan) will give a lecture on making the urban environment more sustainable and how she is implementing this in projects in Belgium and the Netherlands.
On the second day of ARCHITECT@WORK, on Thursday 28 September, architects Aleksander Guldager Kongshaug (GXN) and Christian Veddeler (3XN) will give a lecture on constructions in wood and how this is now taking shape in Denmark. This will include zooming in on a highly sustainable all-wood hotel recently completed by GXN.
